Tour Itinerary


Day 1 – Hometown to Ho Chi Minh (Saigon, Vietnam) (via Shanghai)
Depart Canada for Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon, Vietnam) via Shanghai, with Canadian tour escort from Vancouver.

Day 2 – Arrived Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon, Vietnam)
Cross the International Date Line and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), formerly known as Saigon, the largest city of Vietnam. Arrive at Tan Son Nhat International Airport, your local guide will greet and welcome you before heading off for the hotel.

Day 3 – Ho Chi Minh City ~ Cu Chi Tunnel ~ Ho Chi Minh City
Morning visit the Saigon River, Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral and Reunification Palace. Then drive to Cu Chi district and visit the Underground Tunnels. After dinner, visit Ben Thanh Night Market. Tonight, enjoy a Special Welcome Dinner. (B/L/SD)

Day 4 – Ho Chi Minh City ~ My Tho ~ Tien Giang ~ Ben Tre ~ Ho Chi Minh City  
Drive to My Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta, visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, and stop by the bank of Tien Giang River. Sail on Mekong River to Phoenix Island. Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits and Traditional Music and Song Performance. Ride on a Horse Carriage to taste homemade honey-tea. Hop on a sampan boat and sail through small canals and side-arms of the river. Stop by for a leisure walk on the Turtle Island. Special Fish Lunch to be served today. Ride back to Ho Chi Minh City. Day 5 – Ho Chi Minh City / Da Nang (By Air) ~ Hoi An
Fly to Da Nang in the morning. Driving south, past China Beach, to Hoi An, walk around and visit the Hoi An Ancient Town, old Tan Ky and Phuc Kien houses, the Japanese Covered Bridge and Hoi An market. (B/L/D)

Day 6 – Hoi An  
Enjoy a full free day at the beach of Hoi An or for your own leisure. (B)

Day 7 – Hoi An ~ Hue
Admire the beautiful Rice Paddies, Water Buffalo and Country Landscapes. Drive to Hai Van Pass, and visit Vietnam’s former imperial capital – Hue. Visit Thien Mu Pagoda. Enjoy a Special Royal Dinner with live Traditional Music Performances. (Be a King & Queen in Royal Dinner with Royal long Dresses!) (B/L/SD)

Day 8 – Hue / Hanoi
This morning you will visit the Imperial Citadel and the Tomb of Emperor Tu Duc, as well as the Dong Ba local market. In the afternoon, fly to Capital Hanoi, Transferred to hotel. (B/L/D)

Day 9 – Hanoi
After breakfast, visit Ho Chi Minh’s former residence and mausoleum, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature. Then, enjoy a Rickshaw Ride through the old quarter past the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple. Visit the Ethnology Museum. In the evening, enjoy a Water Puppetry Show. (B/L/D)

Day 10 – Hanoi ~ Halong Bay
Morning drive to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage, more than 1,500 limestone islets rising from the sea and beautiful grottoes. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome drink and a delicious freshly caught seafood lunch whilst sailing out of the Bay passing amazing shaped mountains. (B/L/D)

Day 11 – Halong Bay ~ Hanoi
Tai Chi session on the sundeck at the break of dawn before breakfast, then to explore Surprise Cave (Hang Sung Sot), one of the largest and most famous grottoes in the entire Halong Bay. Relax before returning to Hanoi. Tonight, a Special Vietnam Dinner with Music Performance will be served. (B/L/SD)

Day 12 – Hanoi / Siem Reap (Cambodia)
After breakfast, transfer to the Noi Bai Airport for flight to Sem Reap. Be greeted by your local guide and head for hotel. Enjoy the Welcome Dinner with a Khmer Flok of Charming Apsara Dance Show. A night tour to the Angkor Night Market will be arranged.   (B/L/SD)

Day 13 – Siem Reap
This morning, visit the world famous Angkor Wat (7th Wonder of the World). Angkor Wat is one of the world’s most stunning buildings. Angkor was the capital of Khmer that existed from 802 to 1431. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag, and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Angkor Wat’s five towers symbolize Meru’s five peaks: the enclosed wall represents the mountains at the edge of the world, and the surrounding moat-the ocean beyond. In the afternoon, visit the Wat Thmey (Killing Field), Artisan D’Angkor art school and T Galleria by DFS, the biggest duty-free luxury department store in Cambodia. (B/L/D)

Day 14 – Siem Reap
Today, you are visiting the Ancient Capital of Angkor Thom, Bayon Temple, Phiméanakas, Terrace of the Elephants, and the Terrace of the Leper King. Continue to the Ta Prohm Temples. After Lunch, visit the floating village at Tonlé Sap Lake (The Great Lake) which will allow you to see ordinary Cambodians going about their daily lives. Fishermen, boat-builders, markets, schools, spirit houses and waving at the local children are always a plentiful supply on this mesmerizing scenic route. Enjoy a Farewell Dinner in the hotel. Day 15 – Siem Reap – Canada
A free day for you to explore or relax (including an extra half day use of the hotel). Take the late evening China Eastern Airlines flight and fly to Canada (via Shanghai). Arrive home on Day 16. ( B )
