Day 1 (Thu): Vancouver to Hong Kong
Day 2 (Fri): Arrive Hong Kong
Day 3 – 6: Hong Kong, free for leisure
Day 7 (Wed): Hong Kong – Halong Bay
Arrival in Hanoi, transfer to hotel in Halong Bay. Overnight at Royal Lotus Hotel Halong or similar.
Day 8 (Thu): Halong Bay – Hanoi (B/L)
Board the charming traditional wooden junk for a cruise through the Bay and en-route lunch will be served. Following lunch witness rock formations with names like Stone Dog, Incense Burner (Dinh Huong), and Fighting Cock (Ga Choi). At the core of the islets, there is an enchanting cave to visit thusly named Surprise Cave (Sung Sot), after that stop at Titov Island. Day 9 (Fri): Hanoi – Hue (B)
After breakfast, enjoy sightseeing tour in Hanoi includes visit the Temple of Literature and a walk in the Old Quarter. After the tour transfer to airport for flight to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, meet and transfer to your hotel. Overnight at Romance Hotel or similar in Hue.
Day 10 (Sat): Hue (B/L)
After breakfast, pick you up at Toa Kham Wharf, then visit Thien Mu pagoda a historic temple, the symbol of Hue city. Back to the boat for a scenic cruise to Thuy Bieu Eco-village for cooking class. Go to Thuy Bieu local market (located near Thuy Bieu village), take time to stroll around and buy necessary foods for cooking class with chef. Prepare lunch by yourself under the instruction of our chief. After your practical class, it’s time to taste the Hue traditional dishes that you have prepared and our chef will be able to give his feedback on your own chef skills. Then, spend 2 hours to stroll or bike around peaceful village. Relax by steeping your foot in medicinal herb water a traditional therapeutic practice and enjoy therapeutic massage by the blind people. After lunch, will visit the Imperial Citadel before transfer back to you hotel.
Day 11 (Sun): Hue – Hoi An (B)
After breakfast, visit the Imperial Tomb of Emperor Khai Dinh. Thereafter transfer to Hoi An with sightseeing in Danang. After arriving in Danang, visit the Cham Museum, an elegant colonial building which houses the finest collection of Cham sculpture in the world; and pass by Non Nuoc Beach, a famous spot for American soldiers during the Vietnam-American War. Continue south to Hoi An, stopping enroute to visit the Marble Mountains, five stone hillocks, once islands, that rise sharply from the surrounding rice fields. Riddled with caves and shrines, they are said to each represent one of the five elements of the universe. Overnight in Hai An Silk Village Resort or similar.
Day 12 (Mon): Hoi An – Danang – Saigon (B)
After breakfast, enjoy a walking tour includes visit the Japanese Covered Bridge, constructed in 1593 by the Japanese community to link the town with the Chinese quarters across the stream. Near the bridge is Sa Huynh Museum which houses exhibitions from the earliest period of Hoi An’s history. Wander into the Tran Family Chapel, a 200 year old house built for worshipping ancestors. Visit Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall, a Chinese pagoda built around 1690 and enlarged in 1900. It is typical of the Chinese clans in the Hoi An area and is dedicated to Thien Hau Thanh Mau, the Goddess of the Sea and Protector of Sailors and Fishermen. Also enter into a Lantern Making Workshop to see how the frame is made and the silk cloth put onto the lantern. After tour transfer to Danang airport for flight to Saigon. Upon arrival in Saigon, transfer to your hotel. Overnight in Muong Thanh Sai Gon Centre Hotel or similar in Saigon.
Day 13 (Tue): Saigon – Hong Kong – Vancouver (B)
After breakfast enjoy a sightseeing to in Saigon includes visit Reunification Palace, the Emperor of Jade Pagoda, the neo-Romanesque Notre Dame Cathedral, the Central Post Office and Ben Thanh Market. After tour transfer to airport for your departure flight.
