Itinerary
Day 01 Vancouver – Taipei
Depart Canada for Taipei on EVA Airways. (Extra night in Taipei require for Toronto departure)
Day 02 Taipei – Hanoi
Connect to Hanoi. Arrival in Hanoi, meet and transfer to the hotel.
Free for leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight at the Flower Garden Hotel or similar.
Day 03 Hanoi – Halong Bay (B/L)
Proceed to the Halong Bay. Board on a traditional junk for cruising through the Bay. Lunch will be serve onboard. Cruise by different rock formations with such names as Stone Dog, Incense Burner, Fighting. At the core of the islets, to see the Heavenly Residence Grotto and Driftwood Grotto. Disembark at Halong Bay pier and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the Halong Plaza or similar.
Day 04 Halong Bay – Hanoi (B)
After breakfast, begin your city tour in Hanoi. To see the Noan Kiem Lake, Ngoc Son Temple, Old Quarter and the Museum of Ethnology. Overnight at the Flower Garden Hotel or similar.
Day 05 Hanoi – Hue (B)
Transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue. Begin sightseeing in Hue to see the Imperial Citedel, Flag Tower, Ngo Mon Gate and the Dien Tho Palace. Overnight at the Mondial Hue Hote or similar.
Day 06 Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B)
Begin excursion to Tien Mu Pagoda with a boat trip on the Huong Giang River. Afternoon will proceed to Hoi An en route sightseeing in Danang to see the Cham Museum and Marble Mountains.
Overnight at the Hoian Pacific Hotel or similar.
Day 07 Hoi An – Danang – Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Sightseeing in Hoi An to see the Bridge Pagoda, Sa Huynh Museum, Phuoc Kien Assembly Hall and a Lantern Making Workshop.
Transfer back to Danang’s airport for the flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Arrive Ho Chi Minh City, meet and transfer to the hotel. Overnight at the Star City Ho Chi Minh City Hotel or similar.
Day 08 Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Full day sightseeing in Ho Chi Minh City. To visit the Reunification Palace, Emperor of Jade Pagoda, Notre Dome Cathedral, Central Post Office, the old Opera Office and the central Ben Thanh Market.
Transfer back to the hotel.
Day 09 Ho Chi Minh City (B)
Free for leisure. Chance to explore more the fascinating Ho Chi Minh City on your own.
Day 10 Ho Chi Minh City – Taipei (B)
Meet and transfer to airport. Arrival in Taipei, meet and transfer to the hotel.
Free for leisure for the rest of the day. Overnight at the United Hotel or similar.
Day 11 Taipei (B)
Half day Taipei City Tour. Visit the National Palace Museum, Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, Martyr’ Shrine and Handicraft Centre.
Free for leisure in the evening.
Day 12 Taipei – Chiufen – Taipei (B)
Half day Chiufen Tour. Visit Chiufen Village, Chinkaushih Village, Pitou Cape, Nanya Rock Formations and the Bay of Two Colour.
Day 13 Taipei (B)
Free for leisure. Finish your trip with a last minute shopping in the city of Taipei.
(Toronto departure clients will be transfer to the airport for their homeward flight)
Day 14 Taipei – Vancouver (B)
Free for leisure until the transfer to the airport for your homeward flight.
