Itinerary

Day 1 Canada departure • Depart from Vancouver on Air Canada to Beijing. (Other departure cities available)

Day 2 Beijing • Arrive in Beijing, capital city of China, and transfer to your hotel. Accommodation: New Otani Changfugong for 4 nights.

Day 3 Beijing • Today, a full day city tour will include the historical sites of the Ming and Qing dynasties. Visit the Forbidden City, Tian An Men Square, and the residential quarters (Hutongs). (B/L/D)

Day 4 Beijing • Depart for Badaling to visit the famous Great Wall of China. Along the way, stop and visit the tombs of the thirteen Emperors from the Ming dynasty. (B/L)

Day 5 Beijing • This morning, visit the Temple of Heaven, the Summer Palace and the Panda Zoo. In the evening, Peking Duck dinner. (B/L/D)

Day 6 Beijing • Xian • Transfer to the airport and flight to Xian. Arrive in Xian and transfer to your hotel. A city tour will include the Wild Goose Pagoda and the City Wall. Accommodation: Titan Times Hotel for 2 nights. (B/L)

Day 7 Xian • A full day tour will highlight the Terracotta Warriors. These man-size statues were found in the tomb of Emperor Qin. In the evening, enjoy your dinner and a cultural show from the Tang dynasty. (B/L/D)

Day 8 Xian • Shanghai • Transfer to the airport and flight to Shanghai. Arrive in Shanghai and transfer to your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure. Accommodation: Ramada Plaza Gateway for 3 nights. (B/L)

Day 9 Shanghai • A city tour of Shanghai will include Yu Garden, the Chenghuangmiao Area and the Shanghai Museum. In the evening, acrobatic show. (B/L/D)

Day 10 Shanghai • This morning visit the River town of Jhujiajiao. In the afternoon, visit Xintiandi Area and the Bund. (B/L/D)
